On August 4, 2020, the European authorities published a new restriction on diisocyanates under the REACH regulation. This is a group of chemicals that, due to their reactivity, is widely used in PU products.
This restriction is intended to prevent respiratory and skin irritation that may be caused by diisocyanates. Since August 24, 2023, all professional and industrial users must be trained and certified.
